if you can afford 100 oz you can get stuff for .79 above spot. they have any quantity coins for .99 above spot. they also get generic silver from time to time for .59 above spot
they are very reasonabley priced

bullion has value only to the metal price inside. there is really no negotiating the price at all
a coin has a higher numismatic value and price can vary by quite a bit
bullion is for investing purposes

look they clearly say what they are charging above the spot price. if you want that specific silver round they will tell you if it will cost you more. they have generic silver in stock from time to time for .59 above spot. you can also get 5oz, 10pz, or larger bars for .99 or less above the spot.
and they update the silver price automatically every 10 mins or every time you refresh the page.
5stars for sure

silver coins

I have to say I ordered two coins and a couple of bars with my first order from apmex and wasn’t too happy.. However All the other orders were spot on perfect and all excellent condition. I ordered a ten oz bar, some silver philharmonics and maples. Fastest shipping! 4.5 Stars for apmex. good vid.

premiums are high but they are just as high for the matching item if you look on ebay. You can recover the premiums back to a reasonable extent if you sell on ebay. You aren’t typically buying physical for a quick turnaround anyway.

I just purchased $140 face value bag of pre 1965 silver coins totaling 100 ounces of silver. I paid $1454.60 + $35 shipping. How did I do?

It’s actually a 3% fee. I don’t know if it ever was 2%. There is still a charge for using debit. It’s just a little less than credit cards. Perhaps they use it for all those using American Express. Much higher % ugh. Plus credit cards that offer cash back and other promotions. Guess who pays for the cash back and other promotions the store. They get charged more to pay for those little extras. So maybe they just add debit to it to also cover those ppl that use those cards.

silver coins

Silver is 12 an ounce. Why in your right mind would you pay 15 an ounce for some stupid coin? Thats like 25% over spot. You have to make more than 25% on your investment just to break even. There is no such thing as a “Promotion” on silver. 100 oz englehard or johnson matthey comex certified bars are really the only investment grade silver you should buy. Everything else will be impossible to sell

Apmex is pretty good but be careful. The price of silver has been declining and they dont lower the prices of their bullion on their website. Its a big rip-off. Silver is like 12 and change an ounce and all the products on the website are like 14 an ounce or more. Paying 5% or even 6% over spot for bullion is one thing, but paying almost 20% over spot is a pure scam. Be careful with this stuff. Also, none of the products are comex certified. You will have a problem when you sell.

I have ordered from Apmex quite a number of times, with no problem, and they are certainly cheaper than the local coin shops where I live.

APMEX (and other high-value shippers) withhold the tracking numbers for security reasons. That way, nobody else will be camping out for your box (or requesting an “address correction”), either. It’s worth it. =^[.]~=

I’m in no hurry, price gets locked, I send USPS money order, kick back and wait. I bought some dual date 1999/2000 Maple Leaf coins and also 2008 Kookaburras at a very good price ! You must check out all their items, sometimes they can’t be beat! I have bought silver bullion about 12 times over 3 yrs and give them 5 stars, if you buy at least a 12 oz order.
